The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agricultural education center located in Manitowoc County. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin farming and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance. The center features 10,000 square feet of hands-on learning opportunities, and a birthing barn where visitors may watch calves being born daily. The center was named to Time for Kids’ World’s 50 Coolest Places of 2019.

In 2016, Kate was honored with an Ivey Award for her set design for SWEENEY TODD, THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET. SWEENEY was directed by Peter Rothstein and was produced at the Ritz Theater by Theatre Latte Da.

 Also in 2016, Kate was honored, along with the entire collaborative team of LE SWITCH, with an IVEY Award for Overall Excellence.  LE SWITCH was directed by Jeremy Cohen and was produced by the Jungle Theater.

In 2014, Kate was honored, along with the entire collaborative team of CABARET, with an IVEY Award for Overall Excellence.  CABARET was directed by Peter Rothstein and was produced in partnership by Theatre Latte Da and the Hennepin Theatre Trust as part of the Broadway Re-imagined Series.

 

In 2007, Kate was the recipient of the IVEY Award for Emerging Artist. 

The IVEY Awards are an annual award show, celebrating Twin Cities' professional theater. Established in 2004, the non-nomination based awards serve to recognize outstanding achievements within the past theater season in direction, performance, design, etc.
